SVACA achieved a 99% save rate in 2024

The results are in, and we’re excited to share some wonderful news—SVACA saved 99% of the animals in our care in 2024! 🎉
This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of our amazing staff, volunteers, and community partners like you! Programs like our community cat initiative, strong placement partner collaborations, and foster and adoption efforts have all played an important role in achieving this.
These numbers go above and beyond the typical “no kill” benchmark of saving 90% of healthy and treatable animals.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this lifesaving work possible! We look forward to a wonderful 2025.
