Coyotes in the Neighborhood

SVACA is investigating a case of two deceased cats found in a Santa Clara neighborhood. While this is still an active investigation, our determination is that the cats were most likely killed by a coyote. Coyotes are more active during the late summer when the youngsters start dispersing and are looking for food sources. Please be advised that you should keep cats and other small animals indoors.
