SVACA CLOSING ALL NON-ESSENTIAL SERVICES DUE TO COUNTY ORDER ON CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING NOVEL CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19): March 16, 2020.
By order of the health officer of the County of Santa Clara, all individuals living in the county are to shelter at their place of residence. The order also includes a directive to cease non-essential operations at physical locations in the county. Due to this order, and effective immediately, SVACA will be closed to the public until further notice with the exception of animal emergencies.
We'll be staffing our phones during regular business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to help answer questions and to assist with emergency matters.
Our Animal Control Officers will respond to animals in need in the cities of Campbell, Monte Sereno, Mountain View and Santa Clara during regular business hours seven days per week and after hours for emergencies, as always. Our staff will continue to give top notch care for those animals currently at the center.
We'll be monitoring this situation closely and hope to be back to normal soon.
