85 Adoptions at Maddie's Pet Adoption Days!

Post Date:06/04/2015
Lucas MPADThanks to Maddie's Fund, SVACA adopted 85 animals during Maddie's Pet Adoption Days!  One lucky dog who benefited from the event was Lucas.  Many tears of joy were shed by SVACA staff and volunteers when he found his forever home. His stay was far too long (eight months!) but it sometimes seems things really do happen for a reason. SVACA never quit on him and our faith never wavered that one day a special someone would walk through our doors to sweep him off his paws. Lucas just needed a little extra time to find his momma and somehow, thanks to Maddie as well as SVACA's staff and volunteers, the stars finally aligned for him. SVACA thanks Maddie's Fund, the Friends of SVACA, SVACA volunteers, Santa Clara University student volunteers, and SVACA staff for making the event so successful.
