Public Education

SVACA staff educate hundreds of students annually. Program topics range from how to properly care for a companion animal to how to stay safe around stray dogs. Students can be taught to "Stand like a tree" and to not run when approached by a strange dog. Student volunteers even have the unique opportunity to play the role of a loose stray dog in this lively and educational program!
